Torture and Drug Policy Forum

Leading Organisation: African Law Foundation (AFRILAW)

African Law Foundation (AFRILAW) in partnership with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and West Africa Drug Policy Network (WADPN) Nigeria Chapter will be organizing a 1-Day Torture and Drug Policy Forum for drugs, health, human rights and justice stakeholders in Enugu, Enugu State of Nigeria. The aim of the event is to raise awareness and sensitize at least 20 relevant drugs, health, human rights and justice stakeholders on the Briefing Paper on Torture and Ill-treatment against People Who Use Drugs in Nigeria and key human rights and anti-torture instruments and laws toward ending all forms of torture and human rights abuses against people who use drugs in the State.
