The  focus of the first ‘Support. Don’t Punish” in Honduras will reflect the following statements:

• The drug control system has failed and needs to be rethought.
• People who use drugs should not be criminalised.
• People involved in the drugs market at a low level, especially those involved out of necessity or coercion, should not face disproportionate punishment.
• Drug policy should focus on health, wellbeing and harm reduction.

We produced an audiovisual collage with voices of users, activists, human rights defenders, health professionals, politicians in favour, influencers, artists, and recognised voices in Honduran society (eputies of the National Congress!) activists and PWUD themselves– all with the campaign’s logo and Tshirt, mentioning the aims above.

We will send send written communication to the main media and news outlets in Honduras about the meaning and description of the campaign and the video.
