Leading Organization: Aiming Change for Future

With the theme of “Our Lives Matter”, on global day action, the plan was to go to downtown areas where homeless people are struggling with drug use problems, discrimination, the COVID pandemic and the epidemic of HIV. The plan was to record their voices as well as from other people in the community.
So we visited the downtown areas of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. During Covid-19 lockdown, we didn’t find PWUDs on hotspot areas due to high security alert and police so we tried to reach out to the community and raised awareness related to the theme of the Global Day of Action. We also recorded their voices and shared the video clips and pictures on social media.
