The Global Action to SUPPORT DON’T PUNISH celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2022 and brings together supporters all over the world.

In Berlin, Support don’t punish actions are held by the BerLUN community, founded on June 26, 2017; this year the community celebrates its 5th anniversary and unites all people who are not indifferent to the need to abolish punishment and the war on drugs.

This year’s SUPPORT DON’T PUNISH event will open in Berlin on June 26, at 13.00 o’ clock, in Kottbysser Tor – at a traditional open meeting place for people who use drugs and action space of community and activists.

We invited to the action our partners – Berliner Aids-Hilfe, Deutsche Aids-Hilfe, LGBT Organizations Kvartera – to take part in the opening event, which this year is dedicated to changing the attitude towards women who use drugs and non-binary people and to support them.

We invited journalists, youth, students, our volunteers and readers of our blogs, members of the community BerLUN, and Ukrainian refugees who have received access to treatment with our help now, after the war, who came here and starting their ways to adapt to their life in Germany.

Activists of the community BerLUN will open the second part of the campaign, and talk about our work with the people using drugs, who need support and help.

The action will end with a musical intro, and the presentation of an annual diploma to the brightest people: our partners, nominated by BerLUN for a tolerant attitude, help and support for the activities of the BerLUN community.

This year’s nominees will be two people – the Head of the Department of Migration from Berliner Аids-Hilfe – Sergio Grimalski, and the lawyer – Parvis Vasdany.

The action will end with a procession of participants in a cafe, where a tea party will be held in honor of the 5th anniversary of the Berlun community.
