Fractal Flows West – Support Don’t Punish

On this Global Day of Action, we are collaborating with Wild im West, a public space project of the city of Vienna that transforms the capital´s abandoned lots (or to-be-demolished buildings) into a summertime city oasis. As part of this temporary open space project, we are creating room for art and culture to meet activism, an opportunity to build bridges across issues, and a place where everyone is home.
On the 25th of June, Fractal Collective is hosting a day rave for flow artists and activists to connect and play. From 12 pm to 10 pm, we are hosting FLINTA (Frauen, Lesben, Intersex, Nonbinary, Trans- and Agender Menschen = Women, Lesbians, Intersex, NB, Trans- and Agender persons) DJs and a colorful harm reduction corner, dedicated to the Support Don´t Punish campaign, where all are welcome to talk about their consumption habits, experiences, post-covid nightlife trends, safety concerns, non-sober consent issues, drug policies and grassroots organizing.
At our HR corner, we will talk to our visitors about the campaign and do a tie-dye workshop on the white SDP t-shirts we have left over from the pandemic. We will exhibit a large canvas with the SDP logo in the middle and plenty of space for participants to draw/write their thoughts and messages in relation to the campaign.
Fractal Collective will create a large-scale visual installation that will focus on human rights for all, with a special section about people who use drugs.
