Day of Action 2016

In Belfast, SSDP UK, Parents Action Support Group and Extern organised an event to raise awareness of the need for drug policy reform with short talks and a photo campaign, highlighting the need to offer naloxone as a critical harm reduction intervention to reduce overdose deaths.

The event started with a presentation about the campaign and the need to offer harm reduction to young people. Two parents then shared their experiences of the criminal justice system and the need for better harm reduction and support for young people who use drugs.
