Day of Action 2013

In Oslo, the Norwegian Association for Humane Drug Policy (“Foreningen forHuman Narkotikapolitikk”) coordinated local activities in which local people who use drugs gathered near the central train station to reach out to members of the public and get their stories heard.

During the morning ‘rush hour’, participants handed out coffee and refreshments to commuters in order to engage them in the campaign and disseminate information and leaflets. Then, at lunchtime, they participated in an innovative “Human Library”project where people were encouraged to share their experiences and discuss the challenges that they face on a daily basis.
