In Sao Paulo, the Brazilian Drug Policy Platform coordinated a debate on drugs and forced hospitalisation and treatment with participation from psychiatrists and members of local government. See the full debate here. And related slides here.
In addition, the Platform produced a video after its research programme into De Bracos Abertos. The video, narrated by a former resident of ‘Cracolândia’, discusses the importance of the curtailed programme.

The Brazilian Drug Policy Platform held actions in six cities, with debates in universities and communities. In Brasilia, the debates focused on youth, in Rio de Janeiro they discussed women and drug policy, Salvador discussed racism, Sao Paulo focused on spatial segregation, while Natal and Campinas debated access to health care and treatment (programme flyer).
