There will be a gathering in the Brussels park with more than thirty organizations on drugs, prisons and health; along with a musical event, information stands, workshops, and a large flash mob.


Day of Action 2017

A very large and successful action for Support Don’t Punish was seen in Brussels. Over 1000 people met in the Royal Park for a series of concerts, workshops and information stands. Participants were from all sectors – including the press, politicians, NGOs, service users and more.

Day of Action 2016

In Brussels, a concert was organised by Modus Vivendi on 24th June, which included Odieu and Daniel Hélin. Others activities included stands and animations to discuss drug policy reform. During this day of action, Céline Delforge (Green MEP), Mathieu Bietlot (political analyst of Bruxelles Laïque) and Julien Uyttendaele (Socialist MEP) all called for alternative drug policies.

Day of Action 2015

In Brussels, Modus Vivendi and other local NGOs organised a gathering  in front of Brussels’ Justice Palace. Participants were invited to drink hemp tea and discuss options for reviewing the zero-tolerance policy of the Belgian government, including decriminalisation.


Day of Action 2014

In both Brussels and Antwerp, activists gathered for photos and to support the campaign. A coalition of NGOs including Modus Vivendi, Plug INN, the Ligue des droits de l’Homme, the Centre d’Action Laïque, Liaison Antiprohibitionniste, Fédito and Dune came together for the campaign, and a new website was launched to coordinate their advocacy around harm reduction and drug consumption rooms. In Brussels, activists gathered outside of the ‘Atomium’, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.
